Who hasn't heard of the Little Prince? Whether child or adult, surely encountered with Antoine de Saint Exupéry's legendary hero, the emblematic illustrations of the little boy with wheat-golden hair and blue cape, the tiny planet with miniature volcanoes, the rose, the fox, perhaps the truly disturbing drawing of the giant hat-shaped snake.
Although the pilot-writer's book is 80 years old, it has lost none of its charm over generations.
Disappointed in his rose, the Little Prince sets out on a journey, going from planet to planet to find friend, until he arrives on Earth, which has a really good reputation in cosmic circles. Along the way, he meets many interesting characters, but none of them steals his heart. On Earth, however he meets the fox, who teaches him the secret of friendship. That the friendship is not always bed of roses, that friends are much closer than he thinks, but they won't survive without time and patience, and most importantly it is only with the heart that one can see rightly.
The Little Prince is recommended for children and adults. Annabella Orosz's fabulous visual world takes the little ones on a magical journey, while adults can become children again for an hour. Because we all know that they really need it, and that deep down in their hearts, they really want it.
