Just two weeks after its last premiere, on January 6, Figura Studio Theatre will present another new production: the Gheorgheni opening  night of Love Me (directed by Tóth Árpád), starring Barti Lehel-András and Pascu Tamara. The two young actors became members of the troupe last year.

The event will take place on Saturday at 19.00 in the Theatre's Foundry Studio and promises to be a special one, as the show will be premiered once already in March 2022 in the Udvartér Teátrum's production in Târgu Secuiesc. Following its closure, the Figura Studio Theatre will take over the show in its programme from this year and will present it regularly in its repertoire.

The show is based on contemporary texts by the new generation writer-poet-dramatist Győrfi Kata and renowned Hungarian playwrights Garaczi László and Falussy Lilla. In addition to director Tóth Árpád, the following collaborated in the production: composer Gábor Ila, choreographer Ervin Ruszuly and Norbert Esti, actor of the Tomcsa Sándor Theatre, as editor of the video material that is an integral part of the performance.

Love Me tackles a topical and important issue that we are not ready to face either as teenagers, young adults using virtual dating platforms or as parents: what are the dangers and how does our existence in cyberspace change and make real relationships impossible?

Due to the subject and forms of expression applied by the show, it will be part of the theatrical offer aimed at teenagers, recommended for high school students aged 15-18.
